CONTINUE THE LEGACY

Over 25 years ago, The Lake Building Committee, Inc. was formed with the intent of raising charitable funds to construct a new stadium complex for use by the Lake Local School District and the Lake Community. Through the hard work and dedication of that original committee and the many volunteers who shared that same vision, Blue Steak Stadium eventually became a reality and has played host for over 20 years to many memorable events--events that remain forever part of the hearts and minds of both participants and spectators.

It is with that same vision that the Lake Building Committee, Inc. has been reformed with the primary goal of replacing the existing grass field with a new artificial, all-weather surface. This improvement will allow the “Home of the Blue Streaks” to accommodate expanded school programming and community based activities; thereby converting the stadium facility into a true community asset with virtual year-round use.

As a contributor, your donation will be used to continue the legacy for generations to come. Our appeal is centered around the goal of renaming the field portion of Blue Streak Stadium, “Alumni Field”. Whether you are an alumnus of Hartville, Uniontown or Lake High Schools, a parent of a Blue Streak, or a supporter, your donation will enhance the experiences for future generations of students and members of our Lake Community.

We encourage each and every donor to review this website to learn more about the enhancements that are planned. The Lake Building Committee, Inc. is a non-profit, tax exempt 501c3 organization. As such, we can accept check and charge card donations as well as appreciated property such as real estate, stock or bonds. All donations are tax deductible.
